The Trotter Project
There are a lot of voices out there. Iconic chef Charlie Trotter passed away in his home last year of a stroke. Yet, one of the most wonderful things about the work that he did while he was with us was create a voice and that voice still lingers. A man who advocated for good food and good food knowledge. His family has carried on with The Trotter Project, enlisting alumni former staff of his restaurants to contribute and to teach to the conversation that he started when he was with us. Not only does that voice linger, it is getting louder. We are looking forward to spending a little time listening to what they are saying this summer. Chef Trotter's voice is still out there talking about the importance of chemical Free food and how to make it well.
The Corner Booth
These are discussions that have to be had. There is still a lot to say. The biggest thing on our agenda is starting to talk about the issues on our door step right now and who better to discuss them than some of the biggest voices there are out there in the restaurant business? We are launching a new podcast called The Corner Booth. Four people from the culinary industry will get together with our host to discuss the things that are happening in our industry over a good bottle of something or a bad bottle of something...who knows.
